Search warrant leads to arrests

Rayne Chief of Police Carroll Stelly announced that his officers have arrested two suspects on drug charges as a result of a compliant of suspicious activity in the 200 block of North Chevis. 
Rayne officers investigated the complaint and a search warrant was issued and on Thursday Dec. 18, officers executed the warrant at 215 North Chevis and arrested: 
Shannon Young, B/M, Dob 8/21/78, 30 years of age, 215 N Chevis Street Rayne. 
Young was charged with Possession with the intent to distribute Marijuana, Possession with the intent to distribute Cocaine, Possession with the intent to distribute Ecstasy, and Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses. The aggregate bond on Young was set at $120,000 
Raymanie Washington, B/F, 215 North Chevis Street, Rayne. 
Washington was charged with Possession with the intent to distribute Marijuana, Possession with the intent to distribute Cocaine, Possession with the intent to distribute Ecstasy, and Transactions involving proceeds from Drug Offenses. The aggregate bond on Washington was set at $120,000.
