Funeral services will be held Friday April 29, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Crowley, for Shirley M. Rogers, 74, who died Thursday April 26, 2011 at the Crowley American Legion Hospital.

Survivors include her husband Ken Rogers of Crowley; her three daughters and their husbands Kathy and Rocco Brasseaux of Rayne, Sheryl and Glenn Johnson of Eunice, and Janet and Tommy Shingleton of Crowley; her sister Gayle Gunter of Glenmora La.; and her brother C.J. Myers of Glenmora La.

Mrs. Shirley was also survived by her grandchildren Haley B. Ardoin, Brock Brasseaux, Zachary and Grant Thevis, and Karlie and Kallie Shingleton; and one great grandchild Hudson Ardoin.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Clara Curtis Myers; and one nephew Darrell Gunter.

Pallbearers will be her three grandsons Brock Brasseaux, Zachary and Grant Thevis, and her three sons in laws Rocco Brasseaux, Glenn Johnson, and Tommy Shingleton. Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Ardoin.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the care and share group of First United Methodist Church.

Burial will be held in the Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley.
