EUNICE - A special performance of the legendary guitar & violin Calentano music will be held on Thursday,

August 2nd in the Chapelle Country Store, Le Village at Eunice, Louisiana. Tina Pilione and Paul

Anastasio will perform this fascinating blend of Spanish, African, Cuban and South and North

American styles of music. Tina and Paul have devoted a tremendous amount of effort to preserve

this distinctive style of music played by their mentor, the famous Juan Reynoso, who was from an

area called Tierra Caliente in southwestern Mexico. Seating is very limited. Doors open at 6:00 pm

with performance starting at 7:00 pm. Parking is free. Tickets are $15.00 or 2 for $25.00 and include
