CADE -- Four suspects have been arrested in an armed robbery that was allegedly an inside job.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s officers say Casey Robertson, 24, of St. Martinville was a clerk at Spanish Lake Truck Stop where a 3 a.m. Sunday robbery was reported.

A male subject had approached the window wearing a white mask and white gloves. He produced a handgun and demanded money from the store clerk, according to police. The subject was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

On Wednesday, Robertson and his alleged partners in crime were jailed.

Robertson is charged with armed robbery and obstruction of justice.

Robert Lee Chatman III, 24, St. Martinville, Amanda Champagne, 20, St. Martinville, and James E. Clifford, 28, of Duson were also arrested for armed robbery.

I would of never have hired the guy in the first place. Look at his mug shot. He looks like a crook !!! Send him to the big house.
