LIVINGSTON – Three teenaged volunteer firefighters are charged with setting 11 fires over the past year.

The fires caused more than $100,000 in damages, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

The Fire Marshal said the fires were set to allow the suspects to be called out to extinguish them. Volunteer fire fighters are paid by the response.

Arrested were Adam Church, 17, 11 counts of simple arson; Colin Davis, 18, four counts of simple arson; Thomas Golder, 18, two counts of simple arson.

Both Davis and Golder were active members of the Livingston Parish Fire Dis. 6 Volunteer Fire Dept. and Church had been a Junior Firefighter until February, 2011.
