CROWLEY - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Theresa Kibodeaux Trumps, 73, who died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 3:15 p.m. in Crowley.

Mrs. Trumps was a native of Crowley and resident at the time of her death. She worked alongside Dr. T. L. McNeely for over twenty years as his nurse.

Fr. Jared Suire, associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services.

The family requests visiting hours Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to service time. A rosary will be recited Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home by Sr. Justina Baker. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.

Mrs. Trumps is survived by her husband of 56 years, Drewey Trumps of Crowley; one daughter, Stacey T. Duhon and her husband Jerry of Crowley; three sons, Michael Trumps and his wife Deborah of Egan, Barry Trumps of Crowley and Chad Trumps and his wife Katie of Mandeville; eight grandchildren, Brent Duhon, Brook Duhon, Holly Johnson, Dustin Trumps, Savanah Maria Trumps, Codey Trumps, Camden Trumps, and Sienna Trumps; three great-grandchildren, Caden Trumps, Isabella Trumps, and Dylan Johnson; one sister, Willis Mae Russell of Michigan; one brother, Joe Kibodeaux of Crowley; one daughter-in-law, Marcina Trumps of Crowley.

She was preceded in death by one son, Tony Trumps; grandson, Caden Trumps; her parents, William and Theresa Sonnier Kibodeaux; her siblings, Lena Herrick, Regina Doucet, Anna Mae Kibodeaux, Mable Meche and Dupre Kibodeaux.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Acadiana for their love and support during her illness.
