Duson - Funeral services will be held at St. Leo IV Catholic Church, Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. for Timothy Blake Hornsby, 22, who died Sunday, April 3, 2011 enjoying what he loved, riding his four wheeler with friends, in Pointe Coupee Parish.

Interment will be in the St. Leo Cemetery, Roberts Cove, LA.

Surviving are his parents, Larry and Sandra Broussard Hornsby of Duson, two brothers, Chad Hornsby and fiance' Jeanne Arceneaux of Rayne, Matthew Hornsby of Rayne, paternal Grandmother, Christina Berken Hornsby of Rayne, uncle, Greg Hornsby and wife Brenda of Lake Arthur, aunt, Jeanette Hornsby of Oberlin, aunt, Cindy Landry and husband Kelly of Lafayette, aunt, Diana Ronkartz and husband Greg of Mowata, uncle, Barry Hornsby and wife Tammy of Lafayette, uncle, Jude Hornsby and wife Monica of Lafayette, uncle, Wayne Hornsby and wife Jody of Roberts Cove, godfather, Rusty Todd of Houma, uncle, Wilbert Stelly of Rayne, aunt, Eva Dell Broussard of Rayne, aunt, Eldine Arabie and husband Joe of Crowley, aunt-godmother, Rose Schexnider and husband Bobby of Rayne, aunt, Mary Comeaux and husband Gene of Rayne, aunt, JoAnn Hines and husband Raymond of Houston, TX, aunt, Elaine Broussard and husband Allen of Slidell, aunt, Gloria Cormier of Rayne.

He was preceded in death by paternal Grandfather, Everd Simon Hornsby, maternal grandparents, Ophe J. Broussard and Esther Richard Broussard, aunt, Eva Dell B. Stelly, three uncles, Lestor J. Broussard, Anthony Hornsby and Clifton Cormier.

He was born Wednesday, August 17, 1988 in Crowley, LA, son of Larry Hornsby and Sandra Broussard.

Timothy enjoyed riding four wheelers, hunting, fishing, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

He was employed at University of Louisiana at Lafayette as an air condition and refrigeration technician.

Pallbearers will be Conner Wood, Russell Todd, III, Craig Trahan, Brandon Comeaux, John "Pye" Savoie and Chris Bourque. Honary pallbearers will be Blasia Hornsby, Magen Hornsby, Blair Hornsby, Marty Todd, Tyler Hornsby, Ryan Hornsby and Brandon Ardoin.

Rosaries will be recited on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m..

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m..
