DEVILLE -- Wildlife and Fisheries officers continue their investigation of a boating accident that killed a Deville man.

According to officers, Willis Penny, 66, died when his boat collided with one operated by Johnny Weber of Centerpoint on Big Creek on the afternoon of March 18.

The collision occured in curve of the narrow, serpentine creek near here which feeds into Saline Lake.

Region 3 Enforcement Officer Eric Stokes said results of an autopsy and of routine toxicology screens are awaited.

Penny was founder of the Tramps Motorcycle Club.
