ZWOLLE – A man died Saturday when his pickup caught fire after leaving the roadway and hitting an embankment.

State Police said Nick Brevelle, 20, of Zwolle was northbound on LA 483 when his truck left the road about 3:30 a.m.

After exiting the roadway, the vehicle vaulted across a creek and collided with an embankment before becoming engulfed in flames.

It is unknown if Brevelle was wearing his seatbelt.

Alcohol is a suspected factor in the crash.
