According to the Louisiana State Police report, Corey Francis, 28, and David Lewis, 31, suffered severe injuries when the vehicle they were in failed to properly negotiate a curve and ran off the right side of the road onto the shoulder.
The driver, which has yet to be determined, over-corrected the steering, causing the vehicle to roll over. Both occupants were ejected, the report said.
The State Police is still investigating the crash.
