Two blood drives aid first grade student

Olivia Grace Latiolais

Two blood drives will be held at benefit a Branch Elementary first grader, Olivia Grace Latiolais, who is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia.

The first blood drive by United Blood Services will be hosted by Branch Elementary School on Wednesday, Oct. 5,.

The second blood drive will be hosted by Rayne Central Kindergarten on Thursday, Oct. 13, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with the United Blood Service bus located across the street.

The donations will be credited to the child’s medical account.
