Funeral services were held Monday, December 20, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Willie G. Pousson, 63, who died Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Carpenter House in Baton Rouge.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Pousson of Rayne; his daughter, Angie and her husband, Billy West, of League City Texas; his brother, Willard and his wife, Janelle Pousson, of Rayne; two stepsons, Ronn and his wife, Ann Kidder, of Carencro, and Sean and his wife, Collette Kidder, of Carencro; one granddaughter, Lindsay West of League City Texas; two step-granddaughters, Stacey and her husband, Tommy Hiedbrink, of Arnaudville, and Leighann Kidder of Carencro; two step-grandsons, Caleb and Braeden Kidder of Carencro; one step-great-granddaughter, Abigail Hiedbrink of Carencro.

Willie was a loving husband, brother, and grandfather, he was born in Crowley and was a resident of Rayne, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Acadia Council 1897.

Pallbearers were Stephon Lopez, Ronn Kidder, Sean Kidder, Claudrey LeJeune, Ken Guidry, and William Leger.

Visitation was held Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until services.

Burial was in the Kie Hebert Cemetery in Roberts Cove under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
