Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne for Wilton Joseph Cormier, 70, who died Saturday July 31, 2010 at his residence in Duson.

Officiating will be Father Clint Trahan associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include one son, Raylan Cormier Sr. of Duson; one stepson, David Sonnier of Church Point; two sisters, Rose Cormier of Clinton Oklahoma, and Mary Cormier of Crowley; seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren and four great–grandchildren.

Mr. Cormier was preceded in death by his wife, Eljean Hebert Cormier; his second wife, Verna Mae Sonnier;  and his parents Amidi and Idoli Sonnier Cormier.

Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until services.

Burial will be held in the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
