Representing Iota Elementary as its prince and princess are second graders Lane Hallum, 7, son of John and Emily Hallum of Eunice, and Valiree Vining, 7, daughter of Vali and Jose Ponce of Iota and Glenn and Julie Vining of Texas. The two will both be contestants in the 76th International Rice Festival’s Jr. King and Queen’s pageant.
