When they were taking down the front walls last week, they found the front of an old notary and tax service which was apparently run by a man named George R. Bilbe. She was born at 11:49 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, at Lafayette General Medical Center to Jonathan and Rachel Broussard of Rayne. She weighed in at seven pounds, and nine ounces and was 21 inches in length at birth. Paternal grandparents are Jim and Pam Boussard of Rayne. Maternal grandparents are Charles Labbe and the late Diana Labbe of Church Point. Named as godparents are Katie Thibodeaux and Philip Broussard. Olivia is being welcomed with many gifts by local sponsors.
