WELCOMING MONSIEUR JACQUES: The staff of the Rayne Acadian-Tribune welcomed the newspaper’s newest addition after it was delivered by city electric department workers on Friday morning. Christened “Monsieur Jacques,” the statue is one of 10 located throughout the city by the Rayne Beautification Board to promote the city’s reputation as “The Frog Capital of the World.”
