MARDI GRAS COMMITTEE members met recently to plan for a ball to be held Jan. 14, 2012, in the Rayne Civic Center complete with a Grand Court and King and Queen. Tickets are $30 each and can be obtained by mailing a check payable to the Rayne Chamber of Commerce, to 107 Oak Street, Rayne, La. 70578. Payments can also be made using credit cards.
