Funeral services for Louella Guidry, 69, who died Thursday, November 18, 2010, at her residence, will be held Saturday, November 27, 2010, at 10 am. in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, with Father Richard Wagner, S.J.J., officiating.

Burial will follow in Our Mother of Mercy Cemetery, Rayne.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2010, at Syrie Funeral Home, 1417 E. Simcoe St., Lafayette.

She was a lifetime resident of Rayne, born on March 23, 1941, to the late Ella Granger Vidol and Wallace Guidry.

She leaves to mourn ten children, Paulette Senegal, Patrick Granger, Lynette Granger, Darlene Granger, Nathan Granger, Jude Granger, Ella Granger, Bonnie Granger, Troy Granger and Shawntrece Keel; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Guidry; her parents, two sisters, two grandsons and three granddaughters.

Syrie Funeral Home of Lafayette was entrusted with funeral arrangements.
