Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Lena M. Moreau, 81, who passed away Monday, November 22, 2010, at 2:45 p.m. at the Rayne Guest Home.
Father Clint Trahan of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiated the services.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra LaCroix of Carencro; three grandchildren, Nicole, Tyler and Chris LaCroix; six great- grandchildren, Hannah and Daylan Myers, Brayln, Chloe, Timothy Jude, and Nevaeh LaCroix; and several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Dorris Thibodeaux; her parents, Calise and Cevelia Moreau; six sisters; and one brother.
Visitation was Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. then 8:00 a.m. till time of services on Wednesday.
A Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Burial was in the St. Joseph Mausoleum in Rayne under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Rayne.
