A one-thiry afternoon wedding ceremony on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire will unite Kaitlyn Marie Wilson and Tyler James Meche in marriage. The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the American Legion Home in Rayne.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Kimberly Broussard of Rayne and the late Kenneth Wilson, Sr. She is a student at Acadiana High School.

The prospective groom is the son of Ronald and Cathy Meche of Church Point.

Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Mire.
