Funeral services will be held Monday January 17, 2011 at10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, for Floyd Julius Monceaux Jr. 62, who died Saturday January 13, 2011 at the Lafayette General Hospital.

Survivors include one son and his wife Christopher and Christine Monceaux of Grand Isle La.; two daughters and their husbands Trisha and Reggie Berken of Iota, and Kayla and Nick LaFleur of Youngsville; six grandchildren Landon Monceaux, Reece LaFleur, Ryleigh LaFleur, Jace LaFleur, Rhett Berken, and Gavin Berken; three brothers Fred Monceaux of Crowley, John Monceaux of Pineville, and Gerard Monceaux of Iota; one sister Mary Risinger of Crowley.

Mr. Monceaux was preceded in death by his parents Floyd J. and Nella Bourgeois Monceaux Sr. and two Sisters, Cheryl Daigle, and Janet Young.

Visitation will be held Sunday January 16, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until services.

Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley.
