Decoster, a four-year starter at right tackle, will compete in the inaugural Dixie Gridiron Classic in St. George Utah. The game will kickoff at 1pm (CT) at Hansen Stadium on the campus of Dixie State.
Decoster started 42 games in his collegiate career, including a 35-game streak that was snapped during his senior season when he missed the Cajuns game vs. Oklahoma State with an ankle injury.
Rolle will play in the NFLPA Game, previously known as the Texas vs. The Nation Challenge. In four years of existence, 404 of its participants have signed NFL contracts. Rolle is the fifth former UL football player to compete in that bowl game. Three of the previous four to play in the game signed NFL contracts - Lamar Morgan, Kyle Ward (Green Bay Packers), Jason Chery (Carolina Panthers) and Hall Davis (St. Louis Rams).
The NFLPA Game will be nationally televised live on CBS College Sports with an expected kickoff of 1pm at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The concept remains the same as Texas vs. the Nation with seniors having ties to the state of Texas taking on top seniors from across the Nation.
After starting the first five games of the season, Rolle suffered a leg injury vs. Oklahoma State which ended his senior season. Rolle played in 30 career games, recording 75 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles.
Since 2003, a total of 13 former players have now been invited to a post-season all-star bowl. Nine of those players signed NFL contracts, with Decoster and Rolle hoping to make that number rise to 11-of-13.
