Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at the Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, for Dinney Sarver, 59, who died Saturday, February 26, 2011, at the Crowley American Legion Hospital.

Survivors include special friend Donna Roy of Estherwood; two half-sisters, Marjorie Bertrand, and Jeanette Fluitt, both of Ebenezer; and one half- brother, Gordy Sarver of Lafayette.

Dinney was preceded in death by his parents, Gordy and Ruby Stutes Sarver Sr.,

 He was a mechanic for the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Department for seven years.
