Funeral services will be held Friday March 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Duhon Funeral Home in Rayne for Carl “Poochie” Guidry, 55, who died Tuesday March 15, 2011 at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

Father Clint Trahan associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Guidry of Rayne; his daughter Brandy Zuberbier of Rayne; his son Michael Shane Cormier of Rayne; two step sisters Debbie Hernandez of Hackberry, and Allison Comeaux of Lafayette; six grandchildren and he was expecting his first great grandchild in June.

“Poochie” was preceded in death by his father Nelson Guidry; his step father and his mother Jerome and Mable Rose Comeaux Hernandez.

Visitation will be held Friday March 18, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
