A St. Landry Parish Grand Jury indicted Jimmie Breaux, 31 of 821 South Beulah Apt. 11-D on the molestation charge and Charles Wesley Coleman, 41 of Morrow on rape charges.
According to the bill or indictment, Breaux is alleged to have molested the pre-teen last July.
Details of the alleged incident are part of the public record at this point but publicizing them, in the opinion of eunicetoday.com, is not necessary to understand the charge.
Breaux was arrested by Eunice police in September 2010.
A molestation under 13 conviction provides a supposed mandatory sentence of not less than 25 years nor more than 99, with at least 25 served without benefit of probation, parole or suspension.
Coleman is alleged to have raped his victim over a period of two to three months. Her mother, according to the indictment, busted her daughter’s bedroom door down the last time, when she heard the teenager shouting for help.
Coleman had allegedly been sneaking into the room nightly for several weeks. A subsequently pregnancy test on the victim was positive.

Forcible rape carries a supposed mandatory sentence of not less than five years nor more than 40 on each count. At least two years must be served without probation, parole or suspension.
The indictments, under rules of 27th District Court, are the last public pre-trial information about these cases. All pre-trial motions, hearings, etc. are sealed and closed.
Trials are not closed, when or if such are held.
The status of sex offense cases is indeterminate under rules of the court that are supposed to protect rights of all parties involved.
As far as is known there are two Eunice sex offense cases pending in district court, including one in which the indictment was returned in December 2009.
