During play Monday, April 11, 2011, at BREC's City Park Golf Course in Baton Rouge, Paul Benoit scored a hole-in-one with a nine iron on the ninthhole at 137 yards. The first for Benoit, who has been playing the sport since age 10, was witnessed by Joey Suhayda. Benoit is the son of Wilfred Benoit of Rayne and a LSU graduate.
