A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011, in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Agnes Pearl Credeur, 78, who died on April 27, 2011.

Visitation for Mrs. Credeur, a resident of Thibodaux and native of Rayne, will be held Friday, April 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux and Saturday, April 30, in St. Joseph Catholic Church of Rayne from 12 noon until time of services.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Rayne.

She is survived by one son, Karl Credeur and companion, Patty; three daughters, Patricia Kjeldsen and her husband, Villy; Melissa Naquin and her husband, Wayne; and Melanie Antill and her husband, Ronnie; one sister, Clara Belle Boudreaux; beloved friends, Kathy Chaisson and her husband, Gary; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Credeur; her parents, Robert Junot and Lucille Lavergne Junot; one daughter, Myra Joan Credeur; and a sister, Willie Mae Black.

She will be forever remembered for her strong love of family, friends, and gold ole’ Cajun cooking. She will be missed by all, but as she would say, “Daddy, I’m home!”
