KAPLAN – Services are pending for former Police Chief Tommy Guidry. He died May 7 at age 62.
Guidry was elected chief in 1994 and left office four years later when a resurgence of polio affected his mobility.
He earned three college degrees and was a former police training instructor.
Survivors include his wife Barbara, two sons and a daughter.
