Investigation continues in the case of a fireman who allegedly waved a gun at co-workers at the Central Fire Station.

According to police records, Brandon Brown, 24, of 110 Green Oaks Loop, on the fire force for about two years, is charged with aggravated assault, terrorizing and criminal mischief.

Records indicate Brown got into a verbal exchange with others at the station about 7 p.m. Friday, went to his truck, got a gun, returned and aimed it at the others.

Brown had gone to the station to drop off a doctor’s note certifying he could return to work after being on sick leave.

Fire Chief Wayne Laverne said Monday it is uncertain whether Brown will be placed on leave pending the case resolution.
