Funeral services were held Wednesday May 25, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel of Duhon Funeral Home in Rayne for Raymond Champagne, 84, who died Monday, May 23, 2011 at his residence in Duhon.

Survivors include his two nephews, Roland Guidry of Rayne, and Kenneth Guidry of Duson.

Mr. Champagne was preceded in death by his parents, Elie and Edia Gary Champagne; his sister, Bertha Guidry; and his nephew, Mitchell J. Guidry.

Visitation was held Tuesday May 24, 2011, from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.

Burial was in the St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Duson under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
