Queens were crowned and outgoing royalty honored Saturday evening as the 2011 Ray*la*ne Ball and Pageant was held July 16 at the Rayne Civic Center.

Chairman Marlene Habetz, mistress of ceremonies Cheryl Richard, and members of Preceptor Alpha Chi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi welcomed young ladies of all ages as four crowns were presented.

The 2011-12 Ray*la*ne Children’s Royalty named during the Festival were:

Infant Ray*la*ne XIV Jalaina Marie Istre, the one week, 3 day old daughter of Mandy Istre of Rayne.

Baby Ray*la*ne XIV Savannah Pearl Granger, the 9 ½ month old daughter of Ashley and Brendan Granger of Rayne.

T’Nincy Ray*la*ne XIV Tylee Olivia Alleman, the 19 month old daughter of Mark and Erica Alleman of Rayne.

Toddler Ray*la*ne XIV Analiese Claire Guidry, the 2 ½ year old daughter of Wesley and Ashley Guidry of Rayne. (Photogenic)

Following a day of enjoyment and fun during the in-door festival, the day was concluded with the senior pageants and coronation in the evening hours.

The senior pageants include Queen Ray*la*ne XIV, Princess Ray*la*ne XIV, Lady Ray*la*ne IX and Ms. Ray*la*ne II.

The new 2011-2012 Ray*la*ne royalty slate of beauties include:

Princess Vanity Hayward, 15-year-old daughter of Rayford and Yoshika Hayward of Hessmer. First runner-up was Adrianna Louise Matte of Branch.

Queen Lacey Miller, 19-year-old daughter of Cody and Tina Miller of Abbeville. Court members were Taylor Faith Venable of Rayne, Ariel Capri Gradnigo of Opelousas, and Lail Kathryn deLaunay of New Iberia.

Lady Heather Elise Hickey-Fox, 24-year-old beauty from Denham Springs. Wife of Lance Fox and mother of one. Court members were Yoshika Hayward of Hessmer and Heather Chaline of Lake Charles

Ms. Jeanna Dupree, 48-year-old Rayne beauty. Married to Clayton Dupree, mother of three and grandmother of seven.
