Kevin and Sharon Meche of Rayne are announcing the egagement and forthcoming nuptials of their daughter, Shana Andreé, to Robert Dale Melancon, III, son of Robert Dale Melancon, II and Angela Saucier of Crowley and Pam and Andre Landaiche of Rayne.

The couple will exchange wedding vows during a seven-thirty evening Nuptial Mass Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Rayne.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tyson Foreman of Rayne, Joyce Meche of Rayne and the late Delton Meche. She graduated in 2006 from Acadiana High School in Scott and is employed by Best Buy in Lafayette.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Alleman of Rayne, Janet Melancon of Rayne and the late Rev. Bobby Melancon. He is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley and is currently employed by U.S. MedEquip in Scott.
