Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 23, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Ernest Alleman, 67, who died Sunday August 21, 2011 at Lafayette General Hospital.

Survivors include his wife of Thelma Thibodeaux Alleman of Rayne; his five sons and their wives Gaynal and Ann Savoy of Rayne, Mark and Cynthia Savoy of Mire, Randy and Tricia Savoy of Rayne, Troy and Connie Alleman of Rayne, and Carl Alleman of Carencro; two sisters Patricia Alleman and Judy Leger both of Rayne; three brothers Merlin Clifton, and Gerald “Gabe” Alleman all of Rayne; thirteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Alleman was preceded in death by his parents Ulysse and Josette Broussard Alleman; and three brothers Elee, Leroy, and Kermit Alleman.

Pallbearers will be Blaine Savoy, Jordan Savoy, Eric Savoy, Gregory Savoy, Steffan Savoy Ryan Savoy and Brett Alleman.

Visitation will be held Monday August 22, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
