Devin Redlich, accused of slashing two men at a Basile bar last Novermber, no longer faces attempted murder charges.

Acadia District Attorney Mike Harson amended charges to aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon and dropped the attempted murder count.

Redlich, whose bond was revoked, then increased to $850,000 after he was arrested in August on a charge related to the alleged beating of a woman, was released on the lower bond, records indicate.
