It happened around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 90 in Midland when the vehicle tried to avoid the pedestrian. State Troopers say the pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was transported by Air-Med to Our Lady of Lourdes.
A passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to a Jennings hospital.
