Rayne High School will sponsor the Jingle Bell Run, a 1-mile fun run and 5K run slated Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at Wolf Stadium.

Pre-registration of $15 (1 mile) and $20 (5K) will be accepted until Friday, Dec. 9, payable to Rayne High School, RHS Jingle Bell Run, 1014 Polk St., Rayne LA, 70578.

Race day registration is $20 (1 mile) and $25 (5K).

Packet pickup and race day registration will be held between 7:30-8:15 a.m.

Mile Fun Run will begin at 8 a.m. and the 5K Run at 8:30 a.m.

All participants will receive a race T-shirt. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a T-shirt on race day. Race day registrants will receive a T-shirt as long as supplies last. Others may be picked up at a later date.

Refreshments including cold drinks and fresh fruit will be provided to all participants at the finish line.

5K award trophies will include 1st, 2nd 3rd place overall for male and female participants. Age groups will be separated for awards.

One-mile Fun Run awards will include 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall for male and female runners.
