The accident occurred along Interstate 10, eastbound, near The Lion's Den in Egan.
One person was taken by Air-Med while others injured where taken by Acadian Ambulance to area hospitals. Also responding to the accident were members of the Egan Fire Department and Acadia Parish Sheriff officials.
