The Lady Dogs improved to 22-3 overall and 3-0 in District 5-2A with the victory heading into Friday’s home showdown with Mamou.
Allison Baggett and freshman McKenzie Armand led the Lady Dogs with 19 and 18 points, respectively. Dominiqua Thomas added eight; Anna Lege had six; Taylor Deville and Caroline Hebert each had five; Madison Meche had four; Clarissa Waldrep and Jillian Boone each had three and Adalie Wrioborg and Madison Smith each scored two.
In boys’ action, Northside Christian dropped a 47-42 decision to Hackberry.
Ben Rogers led the Warriors with 20 points while Kade Miller and B.J. Starks each had eight. Tracy Wildridge added four and Nick Gotte had two.
The Warriors will play host to Johnson Bayou tonight.
