DENHAM SPRINGS – Rosemary Boudreaux Mire, 71, of Denham Springs, and longtime resident of Crowley, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at her home.

She retired after 36 years as vice president from Evangeline Bank of Crowley. Rosemary loved to visit DisneyWorld with her family and collected many Mickey Mouse souvenirs throughout the years. She was also a big fan of LSU and Mike the Tiger.

A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Crowley, on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m, officiated by Father Jerod Suire.

Survived by her sons, Derek Mire of Denham Springs and Arleen Savoie, of Cankton, and Jeffrey and Robin Mire of Bunkie; grandchildren, Michael Joseph and wife, Brittany, of Denham Springs, Brett Allen and wife, April, of Shreveport, Hidy Nicole and Brad Abshire, of Kaplan, Dedrick Troy Mire, of Kaplan and Elizabeth Troye Gentile of Bunkie; great grandson, Christopher “Weeble” Joseph Mire; and sister-in-law, Louella Gauthier and husband, Paul of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Mire; and parents, Claude and Cecile Hanks Boudreaux.
