Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, April 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Thibodeaux Guidry, 80, who died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are two daughters, Jackie Guidry of Lafayette, Marlene Benoit of Sunset, four sons, Danny Guidry of Rayne, Timmy Guidry of Crowley, John Guidry of Carencro, James "Popousse" Benoit of Rayne, Getty Benoit of Oklahoma, Nineteen grandchildren, Twenty-one great grandchildren, one sisters and two brothers.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Lee Wilton Guidry, parents, Didier Thibodeaux and Emma Olivier, one daughter-in-law, Patty Thibodeaux Guidry, four sisters, four brothers.

She was born Tuesday, December 1, 1931 in Church Point, LA, daughter of the late Didier Thibodeaux and the late Emma Olivier Thibodeaux.

A rosary will be recited Sunday, April 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m..

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Sunday, April 8, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Monday, April 9, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m..
