Crowley –– Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Annie LeBlanc Trumps, 95, who died Wednesday, April 04, 2012, in Crowley.
Fr. Gary Schexnayder officiated for the services.
The family requested visiting hours to be held Easter Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Monday from 8 a.m. to the time of service. A Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Easter Sunday.
Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Annie was born Oct. 12, 1916, and grew up in Maurice. She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. She enjoyed her nights out at the Crowley Town Club, playing bingo and would drop anything to attend her children or grandchildren’s sporting events. She was very loving and caring and always wore a smile.
She is survived by three daughters, Judith Honsinger of Moss Bluff, Norma Dommert and her husband, Kermit, of Egan, and Janice Taylor and her husband, Donnie, of Houston, TX; three stepchildren, Huey Trumps, Spencer Trumps, and Dewey Trumps; four grandchildren, Terry Dommert, Paul Honsinger, Kathleen Deville, and Tommy Taylor; fifteen step-grandchildren; and three great-grandson, Dalton “The Little Man” Taylor, Sarah Honsinger and Patrick Austin Deville; and a number of step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Trumps was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Trumps; parents, Julian and Inez Bernard LeBlanc; one step daughter, Jerry Schultz; three grandsons, Randall Dommert, Jaret Dommert, and Damon Taylor; and a son-in-law, Harvey Honsinger
Pallbearers were Thomas Taylor, Craig Schultz, Douglas Schultz, Jeffery Trumps, Terry Dommert, and Spencer Trumps.
