Couple plans May wedding

Randal and Gail Judice Vasseur of Rayne are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Traci Vasseur, to Alexander Brochard, son of Brian and Rosanne Lemoine Brochard of Cottonport.

The couple will be married on Friday, May 25, 2012, during a seven o’clock evening wedding ceremony at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, followed by a reception at The Warehouse Event Center in Rayne.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Walter and Doris Morvant Judice of Loreauville, and the late Thomas and Eura Hebert Vasseur of Rayne. A 2001 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2006 from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, from where she attained a Master’s of Business Administration with Health Care Administration focus. She is employed by The Schumacher Group.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Lois Plauché Lemoine and the late Gilroy Lemoine of Cottonport, Natalie Bordelon Brochard and the late Richard Brochard, also of Cottonport. He is a 2003 graduate of Bunkie High School, attained a degree in civil engineering in 2008 from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is employed by Eustis Engineering.

Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Lafayette.
