Rev. Larry Maxwell, pastor of Kaplan United Methodist Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to service time at Kaplan United Methodist Church. “Jerry” chose to have his body donated to LSU Medical School.
“Jerry” is survived by his wife, Vivian Desormeaux Dailey of Kaplan; one step-daughter, Alaina Gould of Bremerton, WA; two step-sons, Charles Montgomery, IV of Mire and William Montgomery of Lafayette; two sisters, Wanda D. Arender and her husband Frank of Brandon, MS and Judy D. Borill and her husband Bryan of Crowley; one brother, John Dailey of Vicksburg, MS; five step-grandchildren, Addison Gould, C. J. Montgomery, V and Tyler Montgomery, Sophia and Emma Broussard; his golfing buddies and nephews, Stuart Dailey of Monroe, Josh Borill and Jake Borill both of Lafayette, John Dailey, Keith Dailey, Robert and Frank Arender; his godchild, Drake Dailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L D and Dorothy K. Dailey; two brothers, Ron and Robert Dailey.
