Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church for Stacy Renee Mouton-Forbes, 35, who died Friday, April 20, 2012 in Rayne.

Pastor Shelton Clay will officiate the homegoing celebration.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 27, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at New Destiny Worship Center, 408 S. Adams Ave., Rayne.

Stacy graduated from Rayne High School in the Class of 1996. She enjoyed playing cards, riding in her new car and combine the neighborhood children’s hair. She possessed God’s greatest gift, love; when you talked to her she would quote Scripture and say “I love yall” to everyone.

She leaves in God’s abiding grace her husband, Albert Forbes; her children, Lionesha, Liondracus and Colby; her mother, Rose Mary (Griffin) Mouton; grandmother, Mary Alice (Griffin) Taylor; siblings, Michelle (Cleo) of Oklahoma City, OK, Kesha (Edwin) of San Antonio, Texas; Russell, Jr. “Rusty”, Tiffany, Gry and Scotty, all of Rayne; godparents, Wllfred Jones, Jr. and Cynthia Mouton; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell “Poochie” Mouton, Sr.; grandparents, Amos and Nettie mae (Crandle) Mouton, Lillian and George Griffin, Eunice Fowler and Authur Crandle.
