Chief Stelly advised Ms. Pitts was working in the medical industry and utilized her access to prescription pads to commit the felony crime.
Jamie Pitts is also facing additional charges in other jurisdictions and the case is still under investigation.
Jamie Pitts was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail and awaiting bond.
