EUNICE~With much sorrow, the family announces the passing of Darrell Miller who peacefully slipped away in his 62nd year at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice with his family by his side on Saturday, May 19, 2012. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 3:00 pm Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

A proud veteran, Darrell served in the United States Navy. Darrell was an incredible husband, a wonderful father, brother, grandfather, friend and a deeply good man who will forever be loved and missed by everyone whose hearts he touched especially his wife, Danette B. Miller of Eunice; his son, Ryan L. Miller and fiancé Valerie Milota of Bellevue, Nebraska; his daughter, Stacy M. Miller of Rayne; mother of his children, Barbera C. Miller of Rayne; his two step daughters, Miranda Catoire and husband, Lee Ray of Scott and Keely Bordelon of Eunice; his two brothers, Wayne Miller and wife, Mindy of Atlanta and Dale Miller and wife, Connie of Youngsville; and the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Drake Richard and Malachi Bordelon.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents, LeRoy and Eathel Prather Miller.

At the request of the family, visitation will begin on Monday, May 21st from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Tuesday, May 22nd from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:30 pm Monday evening.
