Lafayette police have confirmed that they have located what potentially may be a key piece of evidence in the case of missing ULL student Michaela 'Mickey' Shunick. So far they have not released any other information but it has been confirmed that a major police prescence is now in the Whiskey Bay/Atchafalaya Basin area.
