Dear Sinclair Family: Joe was several grades higher than I at Ross High. I remember him because of his gentlemanly nature and his work at St. Teresa's. I remember him becoming an Eagle Scout, and many years later, I spoke of him to my students at Lafayette High School. He was truly a role model for youngsters of all ethnic groups! I especially remember Joe because he treated Helen and me to a loaded Burger King whopper after summer school during the l970's. Even today, when I order a whopper, I think of Joe and Helen with a smile! Joe and Helen were a couple to be remembered and admired! They faced many challenging issues with grace and strength!

I send all family members/friends my prayers and words of comfort during this time of sadness! Take care, everyone!

Rest in peace, Joe!
