A Mass of Christian burial was held Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Mrs. Audrey Navarro Boudreaux, a native of Rayne and a longtime resident of Baldwin, who passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012, at 11:31 a.m. at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.

Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Father Gregory Cormier officiated the services.

Mrs. Audrey is survived by two sons, Glen Boudreaux and his wife, Loretta, of Rayne, and Ed “Boozer” Boudreaux and his wife, Donna, of Franklin; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Octave Boudreaux; two sons, Rodney Boudreaux and Leonard “Slim” Boudreaux; her parents, Edward Louis Navarro and Antonia Robichaux Navarro; and one sister, Jeanette Reed.

A gathering of family and friends was held Wednesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
