Louis and Geraldine Martin Stelly of Plaisance are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lisa Reneé, to Matthew Gerard Olinger of Lafayette, son of Gerard and Debbie Olinger of Roberts Cove.

The engaged couple will be joined as husband and wife on Friday, July 27, 2012, during a six-thirty evening Nuptial Mass at St. Leo IV Catholic Church in Roberts Cove, followed by a reception at the Scott’s Events Center.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Alger and Sylvia Faul Martin of Port Barre and the late Dona Dieu and Ida Lejeune Stelly of Plaisance. She is a graduate of Northwest High School and will attain a bachelor’s degree in management information systems in December from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Employed by The Doran Law Firm, she serves as a legal assistant.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Rita Hargrave Moreau of Rayne, the late Lloyd J. Moreau, Margaret Leonards of Roberts Cove and the late Ambrose Olinger. He is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, received a bachelor’s degree in accounting at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is employed as an account analysist for Lafayette Consolidated Government.

Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Lafayette.
